45 lb one-person service saver for hard-to-reach meters
Trident is a modular service saver (add-a-phase autotransformer) that restores a missing hot leg or missing neutral on single-phase 120/240V or 120/208V service. It is built for meters a wheeled cart cannot reach. Each hermetically sealed 10 kVA autotransformer weighs 45 lbs. The control unit weighs 9 lbs. A single troubleman or lineman can carry the system up stairs, down an alley, or across a finished yard, connect it at the meter, and restore service in minutes. One module covers 100A. Two restore up to 200A. Designed, wound, and assembled in Shelton, Connecticut.

When to use Trident
Use Trident when the meter is up stairs, behind a gate, down an alley, across a finished yard, on an easement, or on ground a cart cannot cross. It is the service saver for troublemen and single-person first response on 100A and 200A residential tickets.
How it connects
Remove the meter. Land the adapter in the socket. Lock it with the single-turn screw. Set the meter back on the adapter. Plug in one module or two. Follow the breaker sequence. Confirm 120V hot-to-neutral and 240V hot-to-hot. Leave the unit on-site until the underground repair is scheduled.
